Hey,

March carries momentum. Quarter-one pressure. Visibility worries. “Empowerment” panels. Faster mornings. Lighter evenings. And beneath it all — expectation. To give more. To show up more. To share more. To mentor. To advocate. To uplift. To collaborate. And yes — giving matters.

But February just taught that “Not all giving is power.” Some of it is erosion. So before March tells you how to contribute, #Edition40 asks a simpler question: What are you willing to give — and what are you done donating?

Because generosity without boundaries isn’t abundance. It’s leakage.

📦 What March Is Already Asking

March loves the language of empowerment. It’s your job to audit the exchange rate.

🟢 Visibility: Speak. Share. Be seen.
But are you being invited — or extracted?

🟢 Collaboration: Give knowledge. Give access. Give time.
But is it reciprocal — or symbolic?

🟢 Momentum: Move faster. Plan further. Commit now.
But does speed serve you — or the system?

🟢 Leadership: Mentor. Advocate. Represent.
But who mentors the women who are always mentoring?

🗂  What We’re Not Doing

March isn’t about shrinking. It’s about discernment.

Donating labor to rooms that won’t credit it.
Calling exhaustion “impact.”
Confusing access with equity.
Volunteering for visibility without protection.
Giving applause where accountability is required.

Tom Holland and Zendaya

💍 Tom Holland and Zendaya might be married. The internet celebrates what may be a private milestone. What’s telling isn’t the rumor — it’s the reflex. A woman’s joy becomes communal content in seconds.

🌍 War expands across the Middle East. The U.S.–Israel conflict with Iran is widening, with airstrikes, retaliation, and congressional debate escalating by the day. When geopolitics intensifies, women’s labor intensifies too — in homes, hospitals, newsrooms, and crisis planning. Empowerment rhetoric sounds different against real instability.

🕰️ More than half of Americans want daylight saving time eliminated. People are tired of artificial time shifts. Of forced adjustment. Of “springing forward” whether the body agrees or not. It’s not just about clocks — it’s about a broader appetite for steadier systems.

🥯 New York’s best bagel updates. In the middle of global headlines and algorithm churn, cities still run on ritual. Morning bagels. Neighborhood anchors. Small consistencies that make movement feel survivable.

🧭 A February Check-In

A ritual for reciprocity, not performance.

Instructions: Take five quiet minutes. Write without polishing.

  1. Where am I over-giving because I fear being replaced?

  2. What would generosity look like if it included me?

  3. Where am I mistaking availability for leadership?

  4. What am I ready to give — freely, not resentfully?

  5. Who gives back to me?
